Laura Freeman

January 07, 2004

Austin folk singer/guitarist/mandolinist Laura Freeman serenaded the Tipitina's audience with her wondrous voice and upbeat, humorous songs Wednesday night. She normally sings in front of children, and with her multi-colored hair and get-up, I believe it. She sang in a silly tone about either Austin or New Orleans, where she lived for four years. The crowd reacted well to her music.
